It's been a long time since I've posted anything. I'm now down in Houston, TX doing culinary at Houston Community College. I'm also taking a photography course at Alvin Community College. Maybe once I've got this evil paper written I'll scan some of the photos. I'll graduate in the spring of 2012. No plans yet after college. I should stop procrastinating on this paper. I'll post more later.

And I've finally picked where I'm going! I applied to Le Cordon Bleu down in the Twin Cities yesterday and I couldn't be more excited. I'll be going into their pastry and baking program. There's a big sense of relief, before now I really had no clue as to what I wanted to do and since I hadn't made a decision, there was a metaphorical dark cloud hovering over me. But that's all good now. I'll start on the 16th of August, so I won't even be 18 when I start the program. It's a 15 month program with an externship at a restaurant after that. So I'm off to the same summer camp again. Hopefully there won't be another wildfire this time. Meanwhile, I haven't had a chance to sit down with my mom and upload any of the photos from our trip to Peru. She's currently asleep with "the mother of all migranes" so I doubt that we will be able to sit down before I leave tomorrow. I just can't seem to pack ahead of time. I always am packing the night before I leave for anywhere. I guess it's just because I'm such a procrastinator...
